Originally from Pictou County Nova Scotia, Dr. Melanie is a proud Aggie Alumni of the Nova Scotia Agriculture College. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2020. She began her career at a small animal practice in Brockville Ontario before eventually returning home to Nova Scotia in 2025. Dr. Melanie is particularly interested in surgery, fear free practice and feline medicine. Outside the hospital she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, vising the theatre, reading and cuddling her cat, Oliver (or any foster kittens she may have hanging about!)
