Dr. Aimee Patterson

Dr. Aimee grew up in Happy Valley Goose Bay, NFLD. She obtained her BSc at the University of PEI in 2008, and her DVM at the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2011. She then traveled to Nova Scotia to begin her career and has since worked in HRM and the Annapolis Valley. Her special interests include feline medicine and dentistry. Dr. Aimee and her husband Dawson are kept busy with their son, Owen, and daughter, Elsie, who share their love of exploring the outdoors, eating all of the food and patting friendly kitties.

Dr. Laura Hartman

Dr. Hartman was born and raised in Dartmouth, NS. She found herself initially following her passion for travel but it didn’t take her long to start thinking that something was missing. Realizing she has always loved animals growing up, she decided to pursue veterinary medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC), where she graduated in 2019. After graduation, she made her way back to the Maritimes and is happy to be back home!
What she loves most about her job, is not only getting to work with and help animals, but also create strong relationships with her clients, it’s the best of both worlds. Now that she’s at a feline only practice, well that’s just the icing on the cake! She’s always loved cats, so not only does she get to work with such a wide variety of cats, but she gets to surround herself with like minded individuals who share her same passion.
When not at the clinic, she enjoys relaxing with her partner Jeff and their three cats Lily, Whisper and Mr. Jim Business (for any Bob’s burgers fans) who is most commonly referred to as just ‘Sir’. You can often find them kayaking on the lake, or playing pickle ball with friends.

Christine can be found at the front desk, eager to greet you and your animals. She loves all animals great and small, but has a special fondness for cats. Especially the two with whom she shares her apartment, Kipper and Tiabeani. Christine is also an avid reader and can talk about books for hours. You’ve been warned!

Amber Dastoori

Growing up, I always wanted to work with animals. Initially, I wanted to be a veterinarian, then in high school I settled on studying to become a veterinary technician. I’ve worked in a variety of clinics, mostly with small animals. I worked for a short time at Dalhousie University with lab animals which was very fun and interesting. My passion is to help people take the best care for their pets.
I started with Basinview Animal Hospital and the Bedford Cat Clinic in the summer of 2022 and really enjoy working here with the wonderful staff and clients!
