Dr. Laura Hartman
Dr. Hartman was born and raised in Dartmouth, NS. She found herself initially following her passion for travel but it didn’t take her long to start thinking that something was missing. Realizing she has always loved animals growing up, she decided to pursue veterinary medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC), where she graduated in 2019. After graduation, she made her way back to the Maritimes and is happy to be back home! What she loves most about her job, is not only getting to work with and help animals, but also create strong relationships with her clients, it’s the best of both worlds. Now that she’s at a feline only practice, well that’s just the icing on the cake! She’s always loved cats, so not only does she get to work with such a wide variety of cats, but she gets to surround herself with like minded individuals who share her same passion. When not at the clinic, she enjoys relaxing with her partner Jeff and their three cats Lily, Whisper and Mr. Jim Business (for any Bob’s burgers fans) who is most commonly referred to as just ‘Sir’. You can often find them kayaking on the lake, or playing pickle ball with friends.
